Thankfully, dry skin isn’t usually serious and is easily reversed. In most cases, it can be caused by factors like hot or cold weather, low moisture in the air, or even prolonged soaking in hot water. You can do a lot to improve the condition including the use of moisturisers and avoiding harsh, drying soaps. Dry skin is often temporary, but it can also be a lifelong condition. Signs and symptoms of dry skin depend on your age, your health, where you live, time spent outdoors, and the cause of the problem.

Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet, drink lots of water and zero/less alcohol, take regular exercise and gently cleanse and moisturise your skin every morning and night.
