Your genes are the greatest determining factor in your pore size but even if you’ve been blessed with the tightest of pores, as aging continues, the skin loses its elasticity. This can cause stretching and sagging thereby making pores appear larger.
There are two types of pores. One releases the body’s natural oil (sebum), the other releases sweat. Sometimes the oil-releasing pores may appear enlarged. It is not possible to get rid of large pores permanently, but there are ways to reduce their size and appearance.
These can be used individually, or in combination for the most powerful effect.
For large pores you can use any of the below three regimes according to your preference and budget. Use them consistently and you should see noticeable results in 3-6 months. Although some people see results much more rapidly, most people see a gradual improvement over time.
Recommended Application Flow
Note: Please use 10% Triology if this is your first time using fresh vitamin C.
Shake each bottle vigorously for a minute or two before opening to disperse the natural ingredients.
(The HydraSilk moisturiser can be replaced with any preferred moisturiser)
Wait a few seconds between each application to allow the serums to absorb and dry. Our Chinese Shan hand fan can speed the process.
The Triology serum always needs to go first and always needs to be used every day while fresh and activeWITHIN ONE MONTHof receiving. The rest of the serums have a longer shelf life with a 'period after opening' of up to 12 months. The ReNew serum should be stored in a refrigerator. For all other serums, store in a cool dark place with lids tightly closed or can be stored in a fridge as long as it’s not TOO cold as this may accelerate crystalisation of the vitamin C in the Triology.
If you're not used to either fresh vitamin C or retinol and are using them together for the first time, then introduce them slowly. Use your Triology only for the first week or two then add in the ReNew every other night for a further week before using both together every day. This should help to avoid any possible irritation.
Note: If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, please substitute the night time application of ReNew serum for an additional application of SkinKarma.
